Here is a horse farm.It is just 15 km far from the city centre.It is a very nice place.There you can ride horse or have riding horse lessons or just sit there drink something and watch the people who are riding horses.But it is worth trying to ride it.It is very enjoyable.

Burası bir at çiftliği.Şehir merkezine sadece 15 km uzaklıkta.Çok hoş bir yer.Orada ata binebilirsin,at binme dersleri alabilirsin yada sadece oturup birşeyler içerek ata binenleri izleyebilirsin.Fakat binmeyi denemeye değer; çok eylenceli.

This is the theme park in Kayseri.There are lots of enjoyable activities that you can do there.In summers the action starts there.You see a gondola in the picture and people on it are shouting :))

Burası Kayseri'de büyük bir piknik alanı.Bu parkta her sene ticari, tarımsal, mobiya gibi fuarlar düzenlenir. Ayrıca konserlerin bir çoğu burada düzenlenir.

It is a big picnic area in Kayseri. Some commercial, agricultural, furniture....etc exhibitions are held regularly each year in this theme park. Also most of the concerts are held here.

Here is a big funfair in Kayseri. It is a big picnic area and also a theme park. We were on the picnic there with our students.

The interesting rock formations, known as “fairy chimneys”, have been formed as the result of the erosion of this tufa layer, sculpted by wind and flood water, running down on the slopes of the valleys. Water has found its way through the valleys creating cracks and ruptures in the hard rock. The softer, easily erodable material underneath has been gradually swept away receding the slopes and in this way, conical formations protected with basalt caps have been created.

The fairy chimneys with caps, mainly found in the vicinity of Urgup, have a conical shaped body and a boulder on top of it. The cone is constructed from tufa and volcanic ash, while the cap is of hard, more resistant rock such as lahar or ignimbrite. Various types of fairy chimneys are found in Cappadocia. Among these are those with caps, cones, mushroom like forms, columns and pointed rocks.
Fairy chimneys are generally found in the valleys of the Uchisar- Ürgüp-Avanos triangle, between Urgup and Sahinefendi, around the town of Cat in Nevsehir, in the Sogani valley in Kayseri, and in the village of Selime in Aksaray. It is just one hour far from Kayseri

Kayseri park is the biggest shopping centre in Kayseri.There are about 130 shops.Apart from shops you can see hairdressers,market,dry cleanings,tailor,cinema(the latest technology and stereoskopik),playgrounds for children.It has also a big parking garage.

The Hilton Hotel KayseriThe hotel is nestled in the lee of Erciyes Mountain.It is the biggest and the most comfortable hotel in Kayseri.It’s in the city centre and opposite to the castle.There are 9 meeting and conference rooms in the hotel and so many important meetings are held in our city in this hotel.

It is one of the highest mountain in Turkey.It is an extinct volcano.Erciyes is just 25 km far from Kayseri.It is 3917m high.It is also one of the biggest skiing centre in Turkey.In winters you can go there,ski and have a very nice time there.It has 2 teleferics.The skiing seasons are between 15 November-1 May.There you can find lots of hotels to stay and many restaurants to have nice meals.

It’s located in the middle of the city centre.It was built by the Roman Empire in between 238 and 244.It!s stil strong and safe and is visited by tourists.It has two main parts.They are inside and outside castle.There is a mosque and some shops that sell gold,silver or souvenirs in the castle.

KAYSERİ:Kayseri is located in the middle of Anatolia. Kayseri has been a continuous settlement since 3000 BC. The city has always been a vital trade center since it is located on major trade routes, particularly along what was called the Great Silk Road. One of the oldest cities founded in Anatolia, Kültepe, lies nearby.It ıs a modern city.It has about 1 million population. The city is served by Erkilet International Airport and the International Air Transport Association symbol for the airport is ASR. The airport is at a short distance from Kayseri center. There are several flights per day to Istanbul, Turkey's premium air transportation hub. Since the air transportation industry in Turkey is presently registering a fast growth rate, new flights from Kayseri to several other localities in Turkey and outside Turkey are soon to be expected.Kayseri is famous for ‘pastırma’,’sucuk’(made of meat with spice)and ‘mantı’.
